This past weekendMokwenaexpressed his disappointment withOrlando PiratesstrikerKermit Erasmusafter the former Sundowns player seemed to lash out at the coach on the sidelines during theCarling Black Label Cupfinal.

Erasmus, who left the Brazilians on the last day of the transfer window to join Ezimnyama Ngenkani, was of help to his side when he opened the scoring in the second leg against his former employers.

However, he was on the bench on Saturday when the Soweto giants were humbled by Downs, and made headlines when he could be seen exchanging words with Mokwena whenTapelo Xokiwas red-carded after he dangerously tackledHaashim Domingo.

After expressing his disappointment over the exchange, Mokwena has now revealed that he has exchanged text messages with Erasmus, while suggesting that the matter is now closed. He also revealed his parting message to Erasmus was one oflove and light.

To end it all, we exchanged texts yesterday, we spoke about and I think for me its not just the one isolated incident. There does seem to be a bit more from the goal celebration to the interview and now to this. And then of course like I said to him even at the end of our conversation love and light! I wish you love and light, Mokwena said onMSW.

Because we should also never forget that at times we dehumanise athletes and we dehumanise coaches and we look at people and we think they dont have emotions, they dont have heart, they dont have things that are troubling them.

And Kermit to be fair has gone through a lot over the last year or so and things shouldnt really be blown out of proportion and we should look to assist these players, because at times they act out of themselves but only because maybe they have certain emotional traumas, if you want to call it that, that they themselves are also still struggling with.

It was disappointing, the tackle was not something one wants to see from an opponent and a career-threatening situation like that shouldnt be applauded,he told the media as quoted byiDiski Times.

Im just a little bit disappointed and disappointed in how he spoke to me.
